Ready to see the Annapurnas the way the eagles do? Launch from Sarangkot Hill, 1,600 metres above Pokhara, and glide for 25-30 minutes over Phewa Lake with the Annapurna and Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) peaks filling the horizon. You'll fly tandem with a CAAN-licensed pilot who handles the flying entirely — no experience, fitness test or prior training required.
After hotel pickup from Lakeside and a short drive up to the launch point, your pilot will run you through a safety briefing and harness fit before you take off together. The flight itself is calm and controlled rather than a stomach-drop thrill — most of the "adventure" is the view, not the sensation.
This is one of the most photographed flights in Asia for a reason. Bring a GoPro or add our photo/video package to take the moment home.

Is paragliding in Pokhara safe for beginners?
Comfortable closed-toe shoes, a light jacket (it's cooler at launch altitude), sunglasses, and a GoPro or SD card if you want your own footage. Leave loose or valuable items with your hotel.
What should I bring?Are there other flight times?
Yes — flights also run at 12:00 and 14:00 daily, weather permitting. Midday slots tend to have stronger thermals for a longer, livelier flight; the morning slot is calmer and better for first-timers or anyone uneasy about heights.
